COMPANY PROFILE
The company BIOENERGO – KOMPLEX, s.r.o., based in Kolín, is an oil pressing plant that produces raw filtered rapeseed oil for food and technical purposes and rapeseed pressings. The building also includes a power plant that produces electricity by burning pure biomass. The idea of the project is the complete use of the plant for food, technical and energy purposes as a permanently renewable resource. In 2013, the company renewed the long-standing tradition of pressing rapeseed oil in Kolín by starting trial operation of the pressing plant, the first small factory for manual pressing of oils was established here as early as 1843.
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
BIOENERGO–KOMPLEX manufactures several products. Pressed rapeseed oil for food and technical purposes, which is modified only by mechanical filtration. The pressing plant also produces pressings, which are most often used as a component of fodder for farm animals. A thermal power plant produces electricity and heat. The heat is used for technological heating in the press room, and the electricity is supplied to the distribution network. Ash is used in agriculture as a potassium-calcium fertilizer of biological origin.
